Hello All,

After the last system update (7.1) I'm having frustrating problems with my Z5 when is locked on my pocket.

Sometimes in a random way becomes unlocked and enables some applications, do involuntary calls, takes pics and so on.

I have disabled the screen double touch, the camera button and the Google smart lock feature.

My phone is aylwas blocked with a Pin so I cannot understand how is possible to became unblocked and perform for example calls in an autonomous way when it is in my pocket.

The situation is very frustrating so I did a reset to the factory settings but without success. The problem with the random calls happened again.

At the moment I cannot hold my phone in the pocket (even in a large pocket). This issue started only a couple of months ago with the last system update.

Any suggestion about what to look at?

Hi

I've got the same issue, except I'm using fingerprint scanner to open the phone. I've tried to turn fingerprints of, but it still happens.

It usually happens when i've got the phone in large pockets.

In my case I have also disabled the "fingerprint feature" and I have kept the Pin code only for locking the screen.

But the unlock screen problem is still happening also.

I cannot understand how that could be possible having a Pin... It should press the start button and compose the 5 number Pin which statistically is impossible... So from my understanding this bug could be addressed to the upper sliding menu which in some random way unlock the screen.

Any other feedback?
