OK, so my Z1 died yesterday and it will not boot up again. I suspect heat had finally killed the motherboard, but that`s just my guess(I have ordered a replacement, will see what happens).
Despite being dissapointed by this, i`m still a sony fan and plan on ordering a Z2 or Z3 from ebay in the near future, but i`m not sure which one to pick. The Z3 is the obvious update, but the Z2 is ticker(easier to hold+ more rugged) and the battery life appears to be better. My main concern is how hot these phones get.
Both my Z and Z1 had moments when they got really hot, i don`t think the Z2/Z3 will be any different, but i`m wondering.
I can`t afford the latest models, so that`s not an option. Right now the Z2/Z3 can be ordered from China via ebay for less than 100 dollars, which sounds like a really good deal, even if they are refurbished models(well are they?). That`s another question i`ve been asking myself, has anyone else ordered them from ebay? Thanks.
