Wait for the latest update still rolling out. Stamina and Ultra Stamina Mode will be included in that update, lot's of bug fixes and updated Security Patch Level Update.

If at least i could update mine... But PC Companion is unable to update itself to its latest version, so i am unable to do anything.

I go in to (Xperia Z3 running "stuck in the Marsh") Setting > phone > Updates: 1. Sketchers 2. Lifelog (thats it): No system updates so, Xperia Companion PC software won't update and the phone itself won't update. What next, when is this new update scheduled to launch & where can we expect to find it?

P.S. "if" Considering upgrading to the new Xperia X: early reviews not too favorable !?!

Just got home from a bike (Sunday 14 Aug 2:00P.M. Pacific) ride and I got a "push notice": Important Sony update > It's installing now. Hopefully this will fix some of the bugs as well as restoring my battery life? I'll post again tonight, after I get to use it for a bit. FYI battery was fully charged prior to installation. -Davis

I haven't used my phone except for one 5min call, two text and looked at emails for about 15min but, 10 hrs later and my phone is still at 78% > no "Staminia" untill 15 "percent" enabled. I'll run it "full" everything and see if I've gotten my battery life back tomorrow / will post results. -Davis

I think I mentioned in an earlier post that I had to do a "Factory re-set" of my phone. That might be the difference; about a month ago, (just after the Marshmello update) I did a "reset" to the factory settings and my phone was no longer "hot" to the touch but,the battery still didn't last near as long as before (the "MM") update. You might want to try to do the "re-set" of the phone and then install the update?

My phone now act's like it did before the "MM" update. My battery lasts almost two days (w/ moderate to usual usage).

Today is Saturday here so, I didn't use my phone much but, Friday I pulled it off of the charger just past 5A.M. and I still had 70%+ battery at close to 12:00P.M.

Go to: settings > backup & reset > factory data reset (back up everything on your google account first) and re-set it. After that; go back in to the same settings and choose: "automatic restore". That should get you back up and running as before the "MM" update. questions/assistance: Post back and I'll do what I can to help -Davis

My Z3 updated about a week ago to 6.0.1 and now I have the battery temperature issues.

Is the only solution really the factory reset and restore?

I am having the battery problem after the update. My Sony Xperia Z3 dual d6633 used to charge from 10% to 100% in just 1.5 hours but now it is taking more than 5 hrs!! And battery life too became so less that it drains in less than 10 hours where it used to be for more than 48 hours (didn't expect this from Sony)

DazzaL,

For my experience too, the only solution that works for me its the factory reset and restore, after that my Z3 works better, but its no even close to my Z3 with stamina mode in Lollipop

I call a few times to Sony Support and they recomended this, but i didn't see this as solution for my battery problem.

They should relase an update with stamina mode. 6.0.1 includes stamina mode Z5 and Z3+.
