Hello everybody!
After the last updating of my Xperia Z3, the bateery runs out very fast!!!!Android System takes a 58 % of power!!! Now i must to charge my device EVERY Day!!

People Please Help Me!!!

I baught brand new sony experia Z3

from first day, after got the sony updates ,for updating andoid to 6.01 (23.5.A.1.291)

battery drain 40% at night ,when not used at all

this is totally not accepatble for a new smartphone.

I only bought this phone , because of the battery recommndation ,and I am furious about this

all workaround from internet, didn't resolve this.

Sony, I need you to fix that ASAP

There are a few solutions listed by members of the community. Did you turn off battery optimisation? Also auto scanning for WiFi and Bluetooth. Also turn off auto rotate and WiFi when not needed. At night prefer flight mode.

First few weeks your battery is crappie in all phones BTW

Here is an update which may help other users:

Find out the drain happens when "mobile network " was changes from LTE to 3G

and phone is constatntly moving from HSDPA to UMTs(which states invalid state for data)

unfortunately the mobile network is not able to stay constantly on LTE.

when it is 3G network, only when I manually turn off WIFI, it can return to LTE

I am not sure if this is APN setting issue, but currenly I disable LTE as prefered network

and now mobile network always HSDPA and battey is great without draining

My phone turns off when battery is on 50-70%. Might it be connected to sw update too?

My phone has now started doing much of the discussed issues here. Battery life that once was 40% during a day is now nearly 80% with little use beyond the odd message.

Worst of all, like pipike, last few days it will randomly turn off indicating dead battery at between a shown 80% and 70%. The phone will not restart it just gives the dead battery sign, but once plugged in it will show the charge is in the 70-80% range once more, and turn on.

Since the update on Friday m phone crashes. It turns off because of the battery. Only works with charger.

My z3 compact developed battery collapse all of a sudden. Service Centre suggested looking at apps as one or more might be misbehaving.

Too right. Accuweather. Uninstalled and problem disappeared.

Phone back to normal.

Hello! I was wiching for a phone that would work out of the box sins I dont have time for scrolling forums searching for fixes, but with the 6.0.1 update I now need to cause of battery life basic decreased to half of what it was. Google tells me this thred is solved, after logging in here, and thereby probably selling atleast my soul if not my wife to Sony on a rediculos license agreement I didn't take time reading, I have now been scrolling arround again without finding the solution, so is there one?

Sorry my frustration, not ment to upset anyone. Super happy if someone could help me with finding the solution that I hope is there.
