xperia z playback video is slow

Just got this fone, realised all video playback (ie YouTube etc) and ones I've recorded using the camera on device, when I view to playback it is jumpy, frame rate seemed slow, not smooth. Can anyone help is there a setting to resolve this issue. Im using 4.2.2, haven't done the latest Sony update yet. Is my device faulty??

I've downloaded an app from Google play and video plays ok now. Seemed like all the pre-orderloaded video player app that came installed in the fone, when viewed are jumpy and laggy!! Strange.. Anyone else have same issue?? Or maybe the Sony update will resolve the software performances on the device??

    is it all videos is playing slow or only the youtube videos ??, if you are playing videos which is on memory card, make sure the format and that video plays fine on computer

>try using MK player and codec, which plays good

>for youtube videos ,you can try

     settings -> apps -> all -> youtube -> clear cache, and restart the phone and try playing same video

>if still not working ,try restoring the phone,  i might think it might be issue with the firmware

Hi manjuboyz,
It seemed to be all video is playing slow. I tried the YouTube fix and it worked! YouTube vidz back to normal. Not sure if the reboot also fixed the pre-orderloaded video player that came with the device, all my vidz are playing perfectly now. THANK YOU very much for ur help!!
