Xperia Z - cant turn off message vibrate function

everytime i receive a text message, the phone vibrates, but if i put it on silent mode, the vibration stops, i cant seem to find a solution where

i can only use the message tone without vibrate. i just want my message tone to play when i receive a text and i dont want the phone to vibrate.

i tried turning off vibrate when ringing in settings but to no avail.:smileycry:

I too turn sounds off for sleep but the phone still vibrates for notifications. Have to turn the phone off every night. Annoying
