Sony Z3 cant update still running 4.4

Hi i cant update my z3 to android 6.0 

When i put my IMEI i get the message,  ' infomation not available right now please try again later ' ( ive tryed numerous times, later aint happening)  

Ive tryed factory reset and repair a couple of times it stalls out at the last minute.  Acording to the phone its running the later software. 

What to try next? Thanks

First of all check if you really have the last software version for your phone firmaware.

See your software costumization version in service menu (dial *#*#7378423#*#*) under service info and after that check the last Build Number for you costumization version in Xpericheck.com (https://xpericheck.com/)

Compare it to your phone build number under settings>system>about phone.

Hi the xperia checker doesnt even last the z3  (D6603) only z3+ 

But i know what the android 6.0 interface looks like on a z3 . The phone os is definitly only running android  4.4.4

I've got a z3 running 4.4.4,

it runs excellent,

without any problems people complain about in later upgrades.

Do you really want to update it?

Mainly security patches and being able to toggle the individual app permissions. i can live with it, but id like to update
