is it safe pushing power button underwater?

hi everyone my question is whether it's safe to push the power button when the device is underwater  i mean will that allow water to get into the phone? same for volume button

Actually iamn't planing to use it as underwater camera iam just asking because I was trying to show my friend how the phone is underwater but the screen was set to lock after 30 sec so I pressed the button to open it

Is there a chance you could let water in - I don't know but it would be an expensive trial if it did

It's really up to you - this phone is water resistant not water proof
