Google Play Services crashes when sharing location via Hangouts

Hi!

Perhaps this topic is already discussed but since I haven't found the answer with Google in 10 minutes, I though to resort to you guys.

So problem is plain and simple: when you try to share your location with someone in Hangout, Google Play Services crash. I friend who's running a Z3 with Marshmallow doesn't have any problems but at least 3 people with Z5's have the same problem. Is there a fix or do we just need to wait for an update?

try to clear app data

settings>app>google play services>clear data and restart your device

do the same with the hangouts and google maps apps. make sure they are given the proper permission before starting up

Sadly this did not solve the issue for me.

Btw. this seems to be connected only to Hangouts since location sharing works in Whatsapp, (FB) Messenger, Telegram etc.

Latest upgrade (32.2.A.0.224) solved the issue!
