hi..... i have heard that xperia z2 heats up to much.. so does that heats up more then other smart phones?? like I phones and other xperia phones... and does its overheating can brake the glass of phone cause i heard that too.. and does xperia z2 drops wifi like xperia zr.. please help me .. am planing to purchase it ..!

@Dandy63 Does clearing cache stops the phone from draining too much? Sometimes the phone's battery is normal and lasts for long, but after a few days, it suddenly drops 6% Overnight (normally 1%) is this normal guys?

Hi, i think that is fairly normal.....i wish mine would just drop 1% or even 6% overnight.....it all depends on whet is running in the background ie Apps etc.....so try not to worry :smileysmileywink:

it just varies sometimes u know and I get shocked everytime it decreases suddenly. Even jn Standby Mode it drops 2% fast.. That's why I cleared the cache, force stopped google play services and their processes (that's what was running) but I had the same usage, even less since yesterday that's why I got worried

@dandy63 I'm not an expert or anything, but to make you're battery drop slower, you can try force stop the running apps before you go to.sleep f.e., turn off your WiFi and mobile data, auto sync.. I think u know most of the stuff but I tried 😛

I did and I already did eveything that was written there, enabled all battery saving modes, turned off mobile data since I read it the first time, location, Auto sync everything.. My Battery dropped 10% in one hour, which is not normal and without even a normal usage.. Sometimes this happens after 2 - 3 days of normal battery life. When I fully charge it, it goes away. We'll see what happens after I've charged it. And there are no apps that are draining it now

My is constantly overheating and shutting down/crashing apps. Infact gaming has become impossible for more than 5mins since the last update (4.4.4) and I've given up on filming in 4K mode completely because I can barely film 20 secs before the overheat message (can't even touch the phone because it's too hot).
Has anyone found a way to stop or slow down the overheating issue?

Hi, if all this is happening since the 4.4.4 update i would recommend if you have not already done so doing a PCC Repair....as this is certainly not normal for the phone, if you do a PCC Repair please remember to back up your phone first :smileysmileywink:
