Z5 : Settings Locked in Camera with Fingerprints ... How Boring

Good evening

I've a Xperia Z5 with FW final .200 (last one) and I've encountered with a problem with Camera

I've setted fingerprints as lock, with a pin (clearly, for backup).

And it happens that when I need to take a photo rapidly, starting by a black screen (in standby so), through dedicated camera button, I can't modify some settings into Camera, just like modality or resolution or whatever, I can only modifiy Flash or Noflash et similia

I don't understand this choice and I don't respect It too

It's simply crazy to let open camera and we can't modify some settings, just because phone's locked ...

It's better to let modify for taking photos as simplier as possibile, because we can't firstly unlock our phone and then press on our camera button

So I'm asking you : Why is this thing possible ?

Could it be changed ?

Is simply boring to lose some times for using all our settings if we have a locked phone

And I don't think It's for security because I don't think that a thief who moves some settings in Camera can do more damns that He could do Grinning_Face

Let me know how's possibile and why there's this thing.

This has been answered before, quick launch will start camera in superior auto, with no control over settings except for what you have mentioned.

Thank you Alex for your answer but that's not the case we are saying ...

I'm saying that in the case I explained above, when I click on camera button, with the phone locked, without unlocking it with our fingerprints, camera is on SA and that's ok ...

BUT

I can't swipe through modality --- PHONE'S LOCKED

I can't modify resolution --- PHONE'S LOCKED

I can't modify other settings --- PHONE'S LOCKED

Everytime I touch on some settings or try to change modality, phone goes directly to lock screen and tells me that phone's locked and should be unlocked to use it fully ....

Try by yourself putting fingerprints on your phone

Put it in standby

then

Open camera through camera button

try to swipe ... or change settings just like resolution

And it should do the things that did to me.

I think that's normal, would you want someone else to use your device and change settings?

Why not ?

Pershaps is it related to my bank details ? Grinning_Face

No ...

I think that letting change settings in camera doesn't make damns ...

Well in this case why not forward this to sony? Write to your Local support.

I think that someone by SONY MOBILE here could read an advice OR a bug because it's not a rapid thing, at this point, with the things in this state ...

Well that is simply a quick launch, ment to shoot something as fast as possible. If you want to change settings, it will take time and there is no need for quick launch. My opinion.

I agree with you but sometime after haved shoot somethings as fast as possibile, someone's going to change to video for example and He can't do ... He has always to unlock it ...

I don't think that's a pratic thing this one ... My opinion clearly ...

At the regard ...

Sony's going to introduce an option to let users choice modality for camera button ?
