Z3 compact 23.4.A.1.232 problem

I recently updated my Z3 compact firmware to 23.4.A.1.232 and now whenever I receive a text message it'll play my ringtone. How do I fix this?

So instead of a simple notification it plays a ringtone?

The sound for my text messages is selected as silent but yes. It plays my ringtone instead of the simple notification

Can you check if the same occurs in safe mode?

My problem is that it doesn't do it for all messages. It always does it when I receive a message from my alarm company, and they send me a message from 3 or 4 different numbers

Not sure about this, can you try to reset app preferences under settings-apps-all?

I restarted thr phone in safe mode. Then did another normal restart and I've received about 5 text messages and not one of them played my ringtone. Looks like there was a possible settings conflict between the new firmware and something on my phone.

So now it behaves normally?
