Hi, i have just bought Sp 2 days back

I am facing wifi range problem the device does not catch the range where my other phone catches the range at good wifi signal strength.

the distance is like 3 to 5 meters less then my black berry

Is there any settings that i need to see for the wifi range.

Bro i have been searching for the past 2 days n i have hundreds of scroll but i still cudnt seem to find 'ConnectivityThereshold=-87'... i request a small help from ur goodself, cn u pls provide me with a screenshot?

Same here SP dropping WIFI connection even I am near to the WIFI, have the latest Jelly bean . Looks like need one more update to fix this problem.

Hi there.

I managed to find the txpowercap but cannot find anything which says ConnectivityThresholdDBM.

I have rooted my Xperia SP and edited just the power cap but it made little difference.

Can i just insert a new line into the file?

I had the same issue. Connection to wifi would drop off all the time and really hack me off. Decided not to meddle with router settings but deleted the connection from the sp then reconnect using WPS not ssid and passcode. Wifi has not dropped in three weeks. Hope this helps anyone.
