Xperia M4 problems

Does anyone has theese problem? I just got the phone as a present but it already has issues. First the Sim card, It didnt even detected it. I have a feeling that it damaged the sim card (3scratches along the chip side), and now the jack stoped working. Anyone has any idea how to get the Jack working? Or its sevice repair only?

Borrow a SIM card or get a brand new SIM card, I'm not sure how it works with your carrier/network, but here in the US you get them free anytime, make sure to get the correct size, don't cut/trim them. 

Has your phone been in contact with water recently? rain, pool, steam, etc
