Hey,
My Xperia M2 recently got water damaged and the display has been black ever since however all the functions still work such as the alarm (I can snooze and turn off the alarm despite the screen being black) and unlocking the phone.
1) I have put the phone in rice as advised by a friend, I have also tried the pull battery option where I press the power button and the up volume button but these haven't worked and the screen is still black. Are there any other ways of getting the phone fixed?
2) I have been using PC Companion to back up my phone and has worked even with the black screen however it will not back up my notes for some reason, it is difficult to solve this particular problem because the screen is black so I would not be able to see why the phone or PC Companion will not back up my notes.
I need this to be fixed ASAP but I do not want a new phone as I am going abroad in a couple of days and need it.
N.B. I have previously had water damage to the phone and this has never ocurred until now.
Please I need any suggestions and help.
