Xperia E4 Proximity sensor is blinking on Unlocking the phone

My Sony Xperia E4's proximity sensor starts blinking on every time I unlock the phone. It generally blinks for 5-10 Seconds. I don't know what is the problem. Few days ago I have reset my mobile phone, after resetting the problem is solved, but next day the same problem occurs. Whether the problem is of firmware or hardware.

Also If I want to open the hard resetting menu (Android Recovery) by pressing power and volume up button, it won't work. But earlier the option for hard resetting works fine. Please tell me the solution.

You should try booting in safe mode and see if it happens again. If it doesn't happen in safe mode the problem is caused by a third party app you installed from the play store.
