I am using a Z3 Compact, Modle D5803. I just updated to Android 6.0.1, and still don't see an option to enable WiFi Calling. I am on T-Mobile USA, and have already setup by E911 address on their website.

Is Wifi calling possible on this phone with this latest update?

Since this phone its not network branded it might not work, as the carrier has to enable this feature.

I just contacted T-Mobile regarding this, and here is their response:

Upon checking, the Sony Experia Z3, it supports wifi calling. For the Experia Z3 Compact, T-Mobile cannot guarantee the functionality of devices which do not have a software version that was sold or updated by T-Mobile.

I have T-Mobile USA as well. Contacting them is not unlike entering Dante's Circles. Long and short of it, T-Mobile will not release an installable version of their WiFi calling feature -- if the phone is unbranded, we may be out of luck. Sony Support cited the Z3, which was avaialble for a brief time via T-Mobile and had the WiFi calling feature installed on the branded phone. If enough people contact T-Mobile, maybe the "unCarrier" will listen, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. Carriers do a lot of testing for embedded features and don't normally include unlocked devices that they don't carry.
