Speaker grill is falling off

The grey plastic speaker grill is falling off my phone, at the bottom. It is held on by glue, which is getting squidgy. 

There is solid chassis under the grill so it appears there for aesthetic reasons. But it doesnt look great and will get bits stuck in there.

I would rather not send the phone away for repair for what seems like a simple gluing job. Has anyone had any experience of this and fixed it themselves?

I'm sorry to hear that but you have to contact your Local support to get it inspected and repaired.

Surely someone else must have a loose speaker grill? Falling off. Flapping around? Anyone?

I believe the Speaker grill does help contribute to the water resistance rating. I would suggest you contact your Local support team and get that serviced.

Happens to me the same thing takes off, you put so much technology and glued parts ....

Hi, I used to had theh same problem.

What I did, is buy the grill on EBAY or Some chinese page with xperia pieces.

I recived the grill like a month after place de buying order.

And the new grill comes with the glue so you quit the old one, and put the new one, and your phone will be like never lose it.
