Over sensitive power button

My power button became over sensitive, it loks the screen without my touch all the time. For example if i touch some point at the right side of my phone where it consists the power button the screen loks. Its to hard to use the phone like this. The warranty still going on but i am in another country for this year. So is there any chance for me to deactivate the power button (because there are alot of applications that loks and opens screen) or can i use my warranty?

Contact your Local support regarding warranty questions. As for the power button it can't be done unless you root the phone there might be a way to do so but it's not wise as you will not be able to turn the phone back on nor reset the phone.

Our warranty is based on different regions. So depending on which country you have purchased the phone from, it may also be valid in another country. Follow uliwoolys advice and contact your local support team and they should be able to provide you with further information regarding this.

Hi, I have the same issue except mine is without any warranty. Is there anyway I could cut down on the expense?
