Not sure exactly what you mean, but you can focus by either tapping on the screen on what you want or by half pressing camera button.

@perico111 Some kind of selective or adaptive focus mode? Well that's in pro mode as you say, like you were using a DSLR. That's not available on Sony, but you can check 3rd party apps.

@perico111 Anytime. Remember Sony has manual mode, where you can chage ISO sensivity, white balance, scene type etc. You can take great pictures if you set it up correctly.
