Low in-Call Volume

Greetings:

I have been experiencing low in-call volume in recent days -- both before and after Android 6 update. I have searched various tech support sites and see conflicting information -- speaker dirty, software glitch, etc.  Volume on speaker phone or BT headset is OK -- the issue is with the on-device earpiece.

I read of one user having this issue and that performing a PCC update sid not solve the problem. Is it time for SONY support?

have you repaired the phone yet? if you haven't try it, or test it on >>> safe mode or contact your Local support

Yes, did a PC Repair. No joy there I'm afraid. Hoping it might be something easy to fix in settings in new Android 6.

PC repair did not solve the issue

If slight press on the area around the speaker makes it louder then it is 100% hardware issue.

Contacting SONY support is good idea.
