I activated developer option accidentally. Is there a way to remove this from settings without performing factory reset? I have Xperia-Z4-Tablet LTE, Android 6.0 build version 32.1.A. 1.185.

just turn it off, nothing will happen if you don't use the developer settings.

Thank you very much for answering. Will this affect settings for protection by my Xperia. I am much concern about this because others reported having problems after reset with protection by my Xperia.(ie seeing black screen and not able to log in even after entering the right Google password).

You can reset your phone and it will go away. Or you can just turn it off as suggested before.

Or just clear the data app data as said and it will make the menu disappear.

Thanks to everyone that contributed. I am very grateful. I will continue to keep it turned off as others suggested (since it will not cause any problem as far as it is turned off) instead of clearing app data because of this pop up. (Screen shot below). I am afraid to start applying some settings all over again.
