So recently when I was in the middle of class I dropped my phone about a foot or two, and it landed. I casually picked up and put it away like I normally do when I accidently drop my phone. But this time and this time only when I tried opening my phone using it's power button, nothing happened. I could hear and feel the vibrations every time I got a notification, or tapped something.
When I managed to get home, I tried plugging it in and tried to find the MTP Mode but it was useless. I've attempted holding down both the power button and volume up button, but it doesn't help at all.
I need the help
i think this is a hardware related issue. I suggest you take your device to the nearest sony service center Local support
Hi @koolfootAID, I'm so sorry to hear about your phone.
I'm afraid that I have to agree with @nolramlb and @uliwooly.
If there was no troubles with the display prior to the phone falling on the floor, this sounds like it's hardware related.
You could try and perform a software repair using Xperia Companion before getting in contact with your Local support team so they can assist you with having the phone sent to an authorized service centre.
This will delete all data stored on the internal storage and since you can't unlock the phone there is no way to create a backup.
