Earpiece anomaly????

Hi guys, when I plug in my earpiece to my Xperia z5, I'm able to play music through music app but when I want to play video from Facebook or websites, there is no sound! I tried clearing data on smart connect but that does not seem to he the issue...can anyone help??

YouTube doesn't work either

i tried it on my device and it works when i change apps. music to youtube. it pauses the music so it play youtube.

have you tried using other headsets?

try to disable events in your smart connect apps.

settings>apps>smart connect> clear data

restart device

I have almost the same problem. I can call no problem, but when i try to listen to music/other apps through my earpiece it wont work i get this cracking buzzing noise and the only way to "undo" it is to play via google play music and then switch to spotify or youtube. But afterwards when i pause or unplug o have to do it all over again.
Never had any problems with my z2 but now a few with my z5..
