Hello All, I just bought my Sony Z5 today and on unpacking it and getting it up and running I am finding that it runs hot even while charging and that was not what my old Z3 did. Any answers on this one please.
Secondly I cannot connect bluetooth to my Yamaha soundbar which did work with the Z3.
Last but not least I took it out to send some pics of Edinburgh for a friend and it seems like the camera is still focusing when the pic is taken, the pics are coming out all fuzzy.
Are all these, things I am doing wrong or has anyone else suffered the same scenario's.
Pretty poor show for a Sony product that is supposed to be a top range quality piece of equipment.
The more you use the phone the hotter it will get, check what apps do you have running
settings > power management > battery > tap on the graph and also check the list.
Are you able to see the soundbar? is it discoverable? can more than one device sync to it?
Settings > apps > all > camera > clear data > restart the phone
also, does your phone has a
protective case?
protective film?
dirty lens or scratched lens?
are you using the camera physical button/shutter or are you using the virtual key?
Once again guys I have a problem using the video to capture things. When I press the button to start the video it hangs and doesn't follow the movement then it stops after a few seconds. I can't find anything on the video pic to alter settings nor on the camera listings on the phone. This phone for a flagship is proving to be a nightmare. HELP URGENTLY NEEDED.
Try clearing the data cache of your Camera app:
Go to Settings -> Apps -> All -> Camera -> Clear data and restart your phone.
Also make sure if you're saving to a SD card, that you have an original, non-fake card with enough speed rating (Class 10).
Yes I checked and all were up to date. The phone has now been sent for repair / replacement to Sony, but thanks for your help.
