Attachment options disappear

Hi all I'm new to Sony phones always been a apple guy until recently I was using iPhone 6 but I liked to z3+ for the camera so now I'm loving the z3. But I've come up against a few problems and their doing my head in.
1/ why is there so much keyboard lag and
2/ when I want to send a picture via message the icons vanish??? Nothing to do with my mms settings I've checked does anyone else have this problem if so do you have a fix I can't seem to find a solution to these problems

I'm sorry to hear about that.

Is it in the messaging application that you experience that the keyboard is slow to respond to your key presses or is it in all applications where you use the keyboard?

And the icons that disappear, is it the icons just below "Write message" that are shown in the screen shot below?



If that is what you are experiencing I'd recommend that you clear data for the Messaging application in your phone, this will not delete any SMS/MMS, it will only clear data for the application.

Go to Settings > Apps > Messaging > Storage > Clear data.
