App search bar NOT BROWSER

Hi all since my recent update a search bar to search my spps has appeared however it partially obscures my alert bar (battery life, time, function icons etc) at the top of myhome screen how do I remove this? Therrs no option in settings and it wont let me hold and drag to remove. When you press and hold the cursor just appears for me to type in the app im looking for from already installed???

On the application screen is not active the menu (3 dots, the choice of order of applications and setup/removal),
There is a search bar for applications.
Did a hard reset, I can't remove icons from the start screen. Not actively "Remove from home screen"!

@kanilkaf So you cannot press on the 3 dots? Check if the same occurs in safe mode.

The problem apparently only xperia home
In another launcher runs everything.
Why does this happen?
Only I the only one))

Try settings - apps, look for xperia home. Tap on storage, force stop and clear data. Restart your phone. This will reset all home customizations.
