Can you give your tablet a name?

can you give your tablet a unique name that will allow you to identgify it on the network?

like identifying "Dad's Laptop" or "Mum's Iphone". At gne moment it shows as "Android Device" which gets confusing if you have more than 1 device running Android on the network.

no, not without rooting it which you'd have to google

You should be aware that 'Rooting' any Android device is not without risks.

The obvious one is that you may invalidate your Sony warranty.

It is probably best avoided if you can.

I guess unlike iPhones, you can name your device whatever you want to name it with.
