Why are the sony MDR-XB1000's only available in Japan

I really don't see why they are only available in Japan. I think Sony should release them worldwide. Please can somebody answer this question to tell me why are they only in Japan. I've tried buying 2 of them and neither of them came. I want to be able to buy them online on the Sony site so it is trustworthy. Thank You.:smileyhappy:

As sony seem to have stocked all the other XB headphones,  I guess that perhaps there isn't enough demand for these high spec headphones in Europe..:smileyconfused:

Have you tried contacting specialist high end audio retailers in your area as they may be able to obtain these headphones for you..
