I bought these headphones as a Christmas gift for my Dad but they instantly mute as soon as they're connected. Actually the volume seems to drop to the absolute minimum, ie you can just hear the audio if you're in a quiet room. The iPhone volume controls do nothing and adjusting the headphone volumes using the touch controls works for a second and then they effectively mute again. I've completely removed the app, unpaired the heardphones and started again from scratch, with and without the app installed but the issue persists. The headphones work fine on my Android and on an iPad running the same iOS version.
My only thought is that my Dad has bluetooth hearing aids and I'm wondering if the app for those could be interfering somehow. We've tried disconnected them but it didn't make any difference. The next step is to try uninstalling the hearing aid app but I'm interested to know if anyone here has any ideas.

Hi Andehh,
When I read the first part of your post I was about to recommend testing the headphones with a different phone to identify the cause of the issue. Since it doesn't happen on any other device, I'd say the issue is only with this iPhone in particular, it may be the app or the device itself.
