WF-1000x does not stay connected to iPad

I have a pair of WF-1000x that keeps disconnecting from my iPads (i have two, this happens on both of them). This used to work when I first got the earbuds, then it happended occationally, now it happens every time.

 

I have no issue connecting to the devices, but after between 5 and 30 seconds I get the "bluetooth disconnected" message for no appearent reason (and the earbuds obviously disconnects). I have an android phone (Samsung S9) that works with no issues and a dell laptop where is is seldom a problem (though i has happended here as well).

 

I have the latest firmware for both the iPads and the earbuds, and i have tries factory resetting the earbuds. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi eriklha ,

 

Did you try changing the settings in the Headphones connect app to be on stable connection rather than sound quality?
