Vintage Discman D-131 Power Adaptor

I am seeking a UK power adaptor for Discman D-131. According to the service manual it needs an AC-E455 (4.5V and 500mA). I have found new and used power adaptors available but they all have a letter at the end e.g. 455D, 455F, 455K. They have the right voltage and amperage ratings and right polarity, but would the plug connecting to the unit be the right size? Thanks!
