I can't seem to get my Sony Walkman NWZ-E436F MP3 player recognised as an MTP device in Windows XP.
In Device Manager, the MTP Device under "Portable Devices" has the yellow exclamation mark, and when I check its properties, it says: "This device cannot start. (Code 10)". I've obviously tried updating the driver, but to no avail.
