Hi there,
I've looked into this and it seems that the receive is compatible with USB mass storage devices only: https://helpguide.sony.net/ha/strdn108/v1/en/contents/TP0001221212.html
I found some information about putting the Walkman in USB mass storage mode here: https://helpguide.sony.net/dmp/nwa50/v1/en/contents/TP0002342924.html

Hi Jmac98,
What happens when you try to connect it?
Cheers,

Sorry for the delay in reply.
When connected by USB and Dac switched on it says " this device not supported"
With DAC off ,doesn't even recognise there anything connect to the USB port.
Have got it to work with Bluetooth (finally) ,but its not the easiest of set ups ,would rather just plug it in,switch amp on press play, without having to go through GUI on the TV all the time. .
Have also tried RCA to 3.5 mm interconnect, but the volume is really low.
