Sorry if this has come up before - just joined. New a35 does not recognise sd card - I've downloaded the sd card format tool and reformatted the card 'the long way'. But the card is not recognised - is there a list of card makes that ar e known to work or is there some way of getting 'any sd card' to work? Many thanks.

Hi quarkrad,
I have two NW-A35's and both are using Sandisk 200GB MicroSD cards without any problems. I hope this helps.

Hi quarkrad,
I meant to point out that I did not need to download an SD Card format tool. The microSD card was recognised by the device once inserted.
Hi quarkrad,
Welcome to the community.
I've checked for you and couldn't find a list of makes of SD cards. Nevertheless, I found in the help guide that it's recommended to format the SD card on the Walkman itself. Have you tried that? If not, you'll instructions to do that on this link: https://bit.ly/2xkKJnt.
Let us know if this helps.

I have it working now thanks to all. I was expecting an actual reformat of the card but it appears to me that all that happens is certain files and folders are written to the card.
Hi Guys. New user here.
I have my music files stored on a NAS drive and although it has an SD card reader it doesn't play nice with the card as formatted on the Walkman. I don't have the drive space on my laptop to copy the music folder to it and then transfer via Music Centre for PC, which is very slow anyway. I can copy from the NAS to the SD card in the WM but only 1 folder at a time. Any tips on how I can achieve a swift copy from NAS to SD?
