Is the DVD player world zone? (ie not limited to playing Zone 2 DVDs). The DVD driver seems to be set to Zone 2 (viewed in Device Manager) - but when I play a Zone 4 DVD it seems to work OK. I am concerned that it might be allowing a certain number of changes before locking me out.
Nearly all DVD drives sold in the UK are allowed to run 'so many'times before you are permanently locked to the region that you choose. We are region 2 so unless you plan on re-setting your OS every-so-often, I'd think about locking this down now.
