Wireless stopped working - only connects in safe mode

My VAIO VGN NR21Z wireless connection has been working fine until yesterday - but now when I start up the green light shows to say wireless is enabled, then within a minute it switches off and when I try to connect it says 'Wireless Capability on this computer is turned off'.

The switch is clearly on - so it isnt actually turned off but I can't get it to connect again. I've made sure the connections are enabled etc but no joy.

The wireless connects ok only in safe mode.

Can someone pls help!

Have you checked that wireless LAN is enabled in the Wireless switch setting utility.?

The Wireless switch setting utility should be found in the start bar notification area (next to the clock) on your task bar..
