My new Sony laptop is running Windows Vista Premium and I've had a bit of trouble with the Photo Gallery's Slideshow mode.
It works fine through any connected monitor (Laptop LCD, VGA Monitor, HDTV) as long as it is being displayed in progressive-scan.
If however, I try and run the slideshow on a interlaced display (HDTV on 1080i or S-Video TV), the slideshow will refuse to work.
Is this a problem with Windows or something wrong with my laptop.

PS. I have a third-party photo program and slideshows on that work fine on any display.
