I got given a Vaio (SVE1512J6EW) with Windows 8 at Christmas and since the end of December I've been trying to download iTunes to sync with my phone.
iTunes opens but it doesn't recognise that my device (iphone, ipad or ipod) is connected, even though I can access the photos in My Computer.
I'm able to download most of the necessary iTunes files (eg Bonjour, iTunes itself, Support Centre) but it just flat out refuses to download Quick Time and most importantly Apple Device Management. Apparently i need to download the 64bit version (which I do) and it even says that I have insufficient privileges!
