Hi shorty31 and welcome,

The problem seems to be caused by McAfee Security. The SiteAdvisor part of the software seems to monitor the camera so you get a message that the camera is in use.

Update the McAfee software to the latest version or follow the workaround here: -

hey thanks i tried all the things that link said and it wouldnt let me do anything it said i had the version of mcafee that it worked with and was just being a general pain in backside so i spoke to my mate and i uninstalled mcafee and then installed kaspersky but thanks for help, shorty
