Hi I wonder if any one can help with the following irritations?
1 Until recently I kept hearing gunshot sounds when signed ont AOL, But now I also get the sound of a loud irritating laugh.
2 I also get a warning "You have Company" can any one explain what this means?

Hi SIGM,

These are default AOL sound effects.

'You've got company' means that one of your AOL Buddies is online.

To turn these sounds off, click on Settings in the AOL Client Software, Click on the A - Z Tab, Scroll to 'Sounds', In Sound Settings uncheck the box against "Allow AOL Sounds .........."
