Hi.
Vista do not detect my Vaio monitor. So, when i plug a external screen, the video swap to the external screen like a primary monitor. This external screen is correctely identified (Belinea). So i cant use the extended display mode.
A idea?
Thanks
Plug in the second display and on the desktop "right-click" -> "personalise"
In the window that appears click on "Display Settings" and you should see some thing similar to PIC1.
Now you must click on the display with the hatching across it and check the box "extend the desktop onto this monitor" and click ok - Highlighted in PIC2.
Now you should see the primary desktop on your external monitor and your extended desktop on the laptop screen.
You probably want it the other way round so this is what you do:
On the laptop display in the "display settings" window select the box that says "This is my main monitor". Click OK.
You should now see that the displays have swapped.
You can now use the Display settings window to move the two screens around so you can decide which direction you wish the mouse to go off the screen onto the other screen.
Hope this helps.
