I have an VGN-AR51SU running Vista Ultimate which I am running in RAID 1. I would like to run a SMART utility but cannot find out how to enable the SMART capability or even if this is possible on this computer. I have downloaded a SMART utility but it cannot detect Smart drives.
Any ideas please.

I think the Smart utility is incompatible with RAID configurations.

OK thanks for your post, I had a feeling that might be the case. Do you know if there is any way of monitoring the temperature of the computer.

There are several free programs available.

I find PC Wizard 2008 as good as any.

Have downloaded PC wizard 2008 and got all info I need.
