Hi All
So I finally decided on the RX514 with the DVD multiburner installed, and I'm picking it up tomorrow :smileygrin: . I have read elsewhere numerous other forum posts about problems many buyers of the 500 series drives have had getting reliable, stable burns on anything above 2X, but I will wait and make my own judgements.
So, my first questions have to be....
Do I immediately need to firmware upgrade it to get 4X writing on suitable 4X media?
What 4X media have any of you guys had successful burns on (- or +)?
Is there anything else I should do to maximise burning speed / stability?
