i suggest you all to determine what an cd-drive was build in your desktop.
it looks like sony didn't publish the possibility for burning with "mount rainier" technologie with his products 
i possess an rx402 (just few days) and the manufacture of the cd-drive is nec (mod. 9100a),.. maybe you need to update in-cd (e.g. Ahead InCD v3.20)!
