The laptop was shut down automatically "to prevent damage" with a blue screen and refused to boot up. The Recovery Disk allowed Windows XP to install but it hung during the Windows Setup phase when the Memory Stick light came on.
This has been repeated many times with the same result. I do not have a Memory Stick to insert during setup so does anyone have a workaround please?
