I would appreciate very much if someone can help me with two questions:
1.- I would like to increase the ammount of RAM of my computer, I understand that my desktop use PC2100, the question is, any PC2100 266 Mhz module would do the trick? or shoud I look for a specific kind or brand?
2.- The motherboard of my desktop only has two memory slots (one currently in use with 256 MB) it would be possible to use a 512 MB + the 256 MB? or should I buy a 256 MB? (256MB + 265MB)
Thank in advance
Luis

Alternatively just trust the Sony as manufacturer.

Very good advice from Stephanius.
The mainboard, however does support asynchronized memory-banks. This means you can also add a 512MB memory-bank. However, you might experience compatibility problems when you enter a bad-quality memory bank of 512BM, so you should go for an A-brand vendor like Sony using e.g. Samsung.
Yes, you can use a supplier such as Crucial.com, they supply very good quality kit and deliver very quickly. I bought some "cheap" DDR and it actually ran worse while this was in the machine. Quality does make a difference.
I have the same PC please tell me how you get inside the PC...such a simple task but i cant get in....HELP
Look on the back of your PC.
Put your fingers under the gap of the chassis on the right hand side, about 6 cm from the top. There is a metal handle of about 3 cm in length. Pull on it gently and the the right side of your RX will pop open...
It is that simple - now screws, great!
