I have Sony VAIO VGN-CS32GH laptop. I recently upgraded the OS to windows 7. But recently I had a problem with my display. Firstly, I was encountering flickering of the screen intermitently. Some times the frequency of flickering was more and some times less. I performed an windows 7 update and the flickering was rectified some how. But now I am encountering a pink and green lines at the bottom of the screen and it appears in the safe mode as well. I updated the Display driver but counted rectify. I am not able to add gadgets on the screen. If I select the clock it is completely blackened and I can only see the needles. I am not able to add any other gadgets.
As your Vaio was manufacturerd by Sony Asia-Pacific, have you looked at that website for support. Have a look here: -

Sony Asia-Pacific do provide Windows 7 Drivers and Utilities - try to find the graphics driver here: -

Have you tried connecting an external monitor - do the same display problems persist?
Are the same problems shown in the BIOS Screens?
