No Fingerprint Software Update?

I don't see an update for the fingerprint software for my TZ, I check the sony vaio downloades for software updates but nothing, can you believe I had to find out who made the software go to their site and purchase the updated software off them, it's the Upek Protector Suite i'm talking about 5.8.2 is the latest version...

Will you be refunding me for my purchase, you'd think for the price you charge for your laptops which I like to think as a premium compared to other manufacturers you'd at least ship it or provide it with up to date software not last years release. I have a feeling they will use the same old version for newer laptops with built in fingerprint readers, nice to see they at least upgraded the wifi card from 3945 intel to 4965, but as for using the Intel 950 Graphics instead of X3100 I still don't understand..
