No continuous play of Audio-CD

Hi,
my laptop VAIO VGN-A215M isn´t able to play audio CD vcontinuously! It works permanent on the harddisk and th cd drive so far I see.

I bought it in Dec.2004 and it´´s a standard-Installation out of the box. Any idea what´s wrong?

Does the CD have copy control?
This can stop CDs playing in PCs

It dosen´t matter if I use a DVD, Audio-CD (selfmade) or a regular audio CD. Regarding copy protection, I never buy CDs with copy protection.

I disabled virus scanner.

Any other idea?
